SaveDDSTextureToFile in a windows store app

I am working on a Windows Store app and want to make use of SaveDDSTextureToFile but when I try and call it, the HRESULT I get back is:

E_ACCESSDENIED: General Access Denied Error.

I assume this is something to do with the sandboxing of windows store apps and so it isn't allowing me to save the file wherever the app's install location is.

Where is my app allowed to save files and how can I do this with SaveDDSTextureToFile()?

You just need to get a fully qualified path to a location you have write access to.
auto folder = Windows::Storage::ApplicationData::Current->LocalFolder;
// use folder->Path->Data() as the path base
